A typical Madison Puppy

What you can expect when you buy a puppy from us?

All our puppies are bred with the sole purpose of improving the overall standard. At Madison we particularly pay attention to overall balance, movements, topline, expression, fronts and straight front legs. What this means is that we breed with the primary focus on those areas. It does not mean that we do not pay attention to temper, coat structure, bite etc. but our prime focus is on the areas where we believe there is a lot to improve especially in northern Europe. Size (height/length) is another area of focus. Too many Lhasa's are too long in the back or simply too big for the breed standard. This is a major concern especially in Scandinavia and Germany.

We focus a lot of our attention on health issues and good mental state.
All of the puppies are socialized from they are three weeks old. The ones that are going to show homes will also have been trained in basic show skills. (stand on a table, walk in a show leash, etc.)

With every puppy comes a puppy health certificate issued by our Vet. All puppy owners are given a 100 Euro Puppy package that include everything from food, leash, brush, shampoo to wet bed and a puppy introduction book. The puppy and its new family deserves the best possible start.

Policy

We intend to maintain a high ethic standard when breeding. We aim at developing future Lhasa Apso's with strong genes and a healthy mental state. We do not breed for commercial reasons. Once a year do we plan to have puppies - call or write for more details.
