Hope, Chic Choix Faith Hope Love has been in Finland for short visit and has brand new Fin Ch title added next to her Am Ch title!! She also went BOB & Group-3 in Vantaa. Well done Sanna with Hope!
Youngsters at Madison are geting older and we are excited to see them to make their debut soon. Charlie, Madison Challenger like his father Ashley, Multi Ch Chic Choix Southern Star are geting ready for shows too. Ashley offspring is doing well, Snow Lion Rosa Mundi just got her Ch title with style in Denmark, Nice Choice Show Me Star & Star O´High got their international titles in May 2010 in Finland!

The year 2009 was unforgetable... Int & Multi Ch Chic Choix Ta Sen Savannah - Top Bitch in Denmark, undefeted during the year (7 shows, 7 Cacibs) together with Swedish Winner -09 & Danish Winner -09 titles !! What a year. By deploying theories of great warriors like Djengis Khan (Precession, skill, Intelligence..) fantastic teamwork delivered world class performance. Thank you to Sanna Kopola & Susan Giles for making this possible. A big kiss to my extraordinary dogs of very rare quality who have been entrusted me. A final thank you goes to Juha Kares of Chic Choix for his fantastic, relentless and insightful work in lhasa breeding. Without his vision none of this could be realised.

Last show this year for our team was Norwegian Winner show in Lilleström near Oslo, judged by Tuula Plathan Finland. Savannah could not participate, but Alexander & Sanna represented us with style winning BOS, CC & Cacib over Champions, and also gaining the title Norwegian Winner -09 for Chic Choix Parti Alexander!! Well done Sanna, Thank You! BOB & Group-2 was Alexander (and also Savannah, Julia & Hope) half sister BIS & BISS Ch Chic Choix High Class, so the wins were kept in a family! Congrats Eli & Morten Sterri, and of course the breeder of them all, Juha Kares.

The main event of Danish Kennel Club was held in Herning, double Int shows with Danish Winner-09 titles on Sunday. Our Beauty Queen Savannah did not let us down this time either, and she did end her year in Denmark undefeated in bitches! She went twice BOS with Danish Winner-09 title!! Way to go Savannah who has been shown 7 times this year around Europe, gaining cacib from every single show, being also awarded with multiple Best in Group placings. On Saturday show the youngster Chic Choix Parti Alexander started his Danish shows being 4th Best Male behind some Champions. Our babies debuted during this weekend too, Madison Challenger being BOB puppy in his first show! Sister Madison Carmen Miranda went twice BOS puppy in these shows. Also we did have a joy to have a special Löwchen, Top Dog of All Breeds in Finland 2009, Chic Choix Markey Lifar here in Denmark as our guest, and winner for both days, on Saturday Group-3 and on Sunday Group-2! Always happy to have our Finnish team around - and Thank You Sanna, Ilpo & Pi for handling our dogs!

| Dear Miss Julia was shown in Finland last weekend, and on Saturday in Hämeenlinna Group Specialty she finished her Finnish Champion title by being BOS to her "fiancè" Ross, Chic Choix Adrenalin Rush! Way to go girl, we are proud of this little treasure... Oh well she didn´t stop with that! On Sunday it was a time for an International show in Seinäjoki, where she opened her Cacib account! Wow :) Julia got res-Cacib behind of her older sister Mantra, Chic Choix Dare To Stare, and as Mantra is already a Int Ch, this Cacib will be for little Julia! Thank You again Sanna! Julia will still stay in Finland for a while, and we are all excited of this...!

Newsflash from ALAC National Specialty: Chic Choix Faith Hope Love went Winners Bitch & Best of Winners with 5 points major at the American Lhasa Apso Club national specialty under breed judge Bev Drake. This is a very big accomplishment for such a young dog who just a week ago arrived in the US! Thank you Susan and Cindy for doing such a fantastic job with her. You are truly best in class!

Julia´s vacation in Finland has continued very well and she is well on a way to her Ch title. In Vantaa All Breeds show 5.9.2009 Sanna showed both Chic Choix Parti Alexander and Chic Choix Julia Augusti, and the Greatest of the day was Alexander winning again BOB with CC from junior class! Julia was open class winner and 3rd Best Bitch with res-CC. After that Alexander has opened his Swedish CC account in Högbo Bruk, and also added one more from Finland to his credits!
In Porvoo All Breeds 13.9.2009 was a turn for Julia again to be shown. She got beaten only by a beautiful champion daughter of our own Ashley and ended up as 2nd Best Bitch with her 2nd CC. Kouvola All Breeds show was judged by Mr. Harry Vella from Malta - and Julia started with style being BOS with CC in stone hard bitch line !! Queen Savannah was shown 3rd time in Denmark this year, with her 3rd BOB & Cacib !! This time it was Hilleröd Int. and judge was Mr. Hans Van Den Berg from Netherlands. We did enjoy a day lot, great judging with good sence of humour. In Group finals Mr. Laurent Pichard from Switzerland awarded our star as Group-2 !! Meaning all Savannah BOB´s this year in Denmark has given her also a group placing - we are so proud of this girl! She is doing such a great job, as two other shows for her this year has been in Sweden & Italy - both also with Cacib!

Chic Choix Parti Alexander did his job well in Finland! He went BOB with CC in nice competition being the youngest lhasa in ring that day in Hämeenlinna All Breeds! Lil Alexander is not older than 13 months, and developing nicely. Lhasas were judged by Mrs. Tuula Plathan from Finland, a specialist judge for tibetan breeds. Thank You! "Stylish and handsome junior, with lovely proportions and outline. Expressive eyes, first-class pigmentation. Athletic and muscular dog whose movement is a joy to look at. Excellent coat on so young dog, appealing character."

| What a special memory. A weekend to remember. Double International shows in Vejen Denmark, 36 lhasas entered both days. On Saturday we showed under Mr. Johan Juslin from Finland. Ashley, Chic Choix Southern Star won Best Male with Cacib and the junior boy Phoenix, Madison Phoenix went 4th Best Male winning Champions! We are so proud of these boys... Phoenix is stubborn little thing and with his impressive black & white coat, he wants to be treated differently, and to be handled like a poodle. Then his highness is willing to show his great reach! Savannah, Chic Choix Ta Sen Savannah did beat them all. She went BOB with Cacib and gave Ashley a free evening - she went herself and did strutt her stuff in finals. Little Hope was looking for a better inspiration this day and got Very Good in juniors. Savannah seemes to like the athmosphere of groups. So did she end up as Best In Group-3 under Joachim Weinberg from Germany !! Girls were supposively planning something special for Sunday. It was a Girls Day! Judged by Dusan Paunovic from Serbia, Savannah again BOB with Cacib and Hope found her inspiration together with Birgitte - going 4th Best Bitch with her first CAC from junior class! This little girl is something, watch her out in future! Ashley today 2nd Best Male with res-Cacib and Phoenix 2nd with Excellent in junior boys. Savannah went Best In Group-2 with great style under Chantal Mery from France. Savannah moved with so correct lhasa steps, and they did have fun! Impressive and well deserved by Savannah and Sanna. This was WORLD CLASS. Thank you! For everything.

Dharmakaya Falguni finished his Dutch champion title this past weekend at the Pinkster show 2009 in Arnhem, Holland under judge A.r.r. Doedijns. Falguni went Best male and BOS . Huge congratulations to his breeder Bianca Feyen who also did an outstanding job in handling him. Falguni is very special to us. This red rich boy is out of very special breeding lines and he represents a very classical central European lhasa apso type. He is in limited showing and will be campaigned under judges who appreciates this type of Lhasa apso only.. His sire is legendary Multi CH Ttraschi-Deleg E`Sonam who unfortunately now has past away. At this same show one of Ashley's kids Snow Lion Rosa Mundi completed her Junior Dutch champion title. At the young age of 15 months. Big congratulations to her breeder and owners Lis and Pi She looked lovely.

Some great things going on at Madison. Special birthday present for King Ashley is delievered - Zena gave birth to bunch of lovely light golden puppies...! We are thrilled of them, they are charming! While we are mostly staying home and enjoying the time with the lil ones - Ashley kids in Finland have done some showing. They had their 2nd birthday in the end of the year 2008 and now three of them are already finished their champion titles. Latest was "Rosita", Fin & Rus Ch Nice Choice See One Star who won BOB in Lappeenranta International in April and also in Turenki Group Specialty last Sunday May 3rd. In Malmö International Swedish winner show lhasas were judged by Rita Reyniers from Belgium, Thank You for awarding Savannah BOS with CC & Cacib in a quality competition. We are proud!! Time really flies fast... Our King, Ashley, Multi Ch & Group Winner, CHIC CHOIX SOUTHERN STAR is now 5 yo old. And like it was yesterday when he arrived, and started something big for us - the most precious co-operation with a great talented team of show people & breeders all over the world... Thank You Ashley <3. Also we are congratulating all of his sisters & brothers: Ninni in Finland, Ashley in Norway, Lenni in Finland... and all the rest too!

Our lil man in Finland CHIC CHOIX PARTI ALEXANDER was shown in Helsinki All Breeds puppy show, where total entries were about 500 puppies. "Alexander" did it great, and went BOB with Best In Group-2. We had a great year! Here are the Madison 2008 tributes:
Wow what a year! Success and good time - thank you all concerned! Then the birthday specialty results from Koge Denmark (15th of Nov 2008): Savanah was our star of a day! She won champion bitches over many beautiful competitors, and finished with BIS champion! In BOB judge had a hard choice to do - congratulations to well deserved winner from Black Boots lhasas Sweden! Savannah was shown first time in Champions in Denmark and got her Club CC right away. Maddy did the same, gained his Club CC by being 2nd best male Champion in a huge class! King Ashley did not got placed this time but with excellent. Junior babies did great deput too: Zena 3rd junior female with Excellent and Phoenix best junior male with excellent too. In CC class and BIS junior selection he did let others to show their movements and himself concentrated to be a lhasa... :) So this time no CC and BOS junior! We are so proud of them! Here is Phoenix babyboy winning junior males class:

We showed in LAK Nyborg today with nice punch of dogs, and with some great results also! We took both boys and girls CC´s. Ashley (Chic Choix Southern Star) ended to be 2nd in Champion Class with Excellent and Danish Club CC. After that hi sonMaddy (Crystal Eye´s Loo Mang-Manger) won big Open Class with Excellent and got CC which made him to be a brand new Danish Champion! Girls continued from where boys ended and Julia (Chic Choix Julia Augusti) won Junior Class with Excellent and Savannah (Chic Choix Ta Sen Savannah) made it also as a winner from Open Class. Those two sisters competed together for CC and this time Savannah was still one step ahead... and finished her Danish Ch title. Way to go girls! Julia is now a leader in TOP-junior list. Madison Phoenix was BOS puppy, so the day was great resultwise and also it was very nice to meet friends :). Thank You Sanna and Pi again for showing the dogs professionally! |

Little Julia is a miracle! She took her 2nd CC under Barbara Wood (Anbara Lhasa Apsos, USA) in Sjælland LAK show today! Again a specialist who awarded one of our dogs... Cannot really say how thankful we are to Juha Kares to have such a team of dogs - It is fantastic. How bright is the future, that we will see! Thank You Pi, you did great job with our little star! |

King Ashley took Baltics by storm! On Saturday 19th of July he was shown in Haapsalu All Breeds, under Dr. Andreas Schemel who awarded him with BOB & also Best In Group-1 !! So today Ashley added Estonian Ch title in front of his name. We are so happy that the special judges who we appreciate do like our star so much!
Here is Mr. Schemels citique of Ashley: On Sunday 20th of July they continued their trip to Riga Latvia together with Sanna his handler. Ashley had a wonderful company there of his son Sixten (Chic Choix Six Stars) & Meg and also a puppy boy Mauno (Nice Choice Trademark). Show was held in Ogre, outside of Riga and this time Ashley finished Baltic & Lv Ch titles with BOB & Best In Group-5 (they place 5 in finals there). Breed was judged by latvian judge Birgitta Vitolina and group judge came from Denmark, Mr. Gunnar Nyman. So in two weeks Ashley was awarded with 3 new titles: Baltic & Est & Lv Ch, and also with three Group-placements! Thanks Dear Ashley, we love You. Oulu International show was held in northern part f Finland, judge were special - Mr Michael Camac from Amesen Lhasa Apsos (Australia). It was a pleasure to have our King Ashley in the ring there as he won Breed with Cacib...! And also later on in finals Mr Camac appreciated him more and put him Group-2... There were 2500 dogs in the show and 20 lhasas. Ashley is continuing his trip a little more! lets see how he does! Ashley is staying with his handler Sanna Kopola during his visit in Finland, he has many friends there already and he is much loved! Some pics from the show by Sanna Kiho:

Ashley ( INCH, DKCH, LTCH, AMCH, FINCH Chic Choix Southern Star) finished his international titles under judge Carlos Saevich in Odense today. Not only did Ashley take the best of breed in fine style beating several world winners, but afterwards the little guy and his fantastic handler Sanna Kopola ended up as Best in Group 2. What a day ! What a huge accomplishment for the pair. My sincere thank you goes to Sanna who handled him to perfection and to breeder Juha Kares for his tremendous support and coaching. |
